 Lowell PD Seeking Applicants

The Lowell Police Department is seeking applicants for full-time police officer position.

Starting pay for a Probationary Officer is $51,417.60 and First Class Patrolman is $61,027.20. Benefits include longevity pay, specialty pay, healthcare program including dental and vision, paid vacations, personal days and more.

Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years of age but less than 36 at the time of appointment, be a US citizen, have no felony or domestic battery convictions, be of good moral character, have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a physical fitness evaluation, written test, polygraph examination and extensive background investigation.

Applications must be picked up and turned in during the business hours of operation:

Mondays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Wednesdays 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Fridays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Applications are due February 15, 2019 at 4:00 PM. There is a $25 testing fee to be paid when the application is turned in.
